Does anyone know what this means

Pardon our interruption...

As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:

  • You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
  • You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
  • A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.

Others have been receiving this rather odd message.

There is a major eBay server issue affecting many.

eBay are aware,  and working on this,  but it is intermittent,  tis may be impacting your account,  and sending this odd message.

However,  if it's the app that you're using, some peeps have found uninstalling and reinstalling the app , the account is then accessible.

@cad1720

I had this message too.  It seemed to  coincide with the monthly Windows update which was uploading at the time.  Have not had any issues since update completed.

I've had it on Android 15 phone too.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to clarify that we are still seeing reports of an intermittent issue that we had before, so this might be related to the issue you're referring to. Once this is resolved, I will let you know, and if the issue persists, we can take a look again no problem.

Thank you,

Marco

I am currently away on my sabbatical, and will return in July. Please expect a delay in my reply

There is a bad sign-in banner link.

If you sign out and use the green "You've signed out -- sign in again" banner, you may get the "Pardon our interruption" error page as I seem to, repeatably.

Try using a different link to sign back in, such as the little text link in the upper left corner of the same page.

Now appears fixed
