Unable to Watch items, Buy it now or Bid

I have been using the eBay website via Safari for some time as my iPad mini 4 is too old to support the app.  Since yesterday, I have been unable to Watch any items, Buy it now on any items or place bids.  I have checked my payment details and they are still valid.  Any ideas?  If I log on elsewhere not using my IPad its ok, so it seems some kind of restriction on my iPad.  I can purchase from other sites fine.

eBay are having current issues with outdated systems.  There is a major issue with Safari so you do need to change browsers,  Chrome behaves well with eBay.

 

They are advising to ensure the device and browser you are using is up to date,  and the recent app update is installed.

 

There is also an issue with Safari, and apps forever glitchy,  do need constant updates, have you done this?  Also, some found uninstalling and reinstalling the app has helped.

 

Or,  if you can,  switch a laptop / PC with Chrome, that seems to be the best combo with eBay.

 

Many are experiencing various issues because of the above,  you are not alone .
