hi I had a balance turn up in my account I asked the question was that money? Mine was told by one of your representatives on a chat like this that it was so I spent it and now you’ve asked for it back. I am now cancelling my eBay account

From your feedback as a seller, I see you accepted a cancellation?

 

If so, and the buyer had previously paid,  if there was any money in your eBay Balance,  then this is used to pay the buyer the amount they paid you,  for the  item which was subsequently cancelled.

and - for what it's worth none of us here are eBay employees so "not our representative".  We are members like you who try to help with cumulatively vast experience!

 

EBay can reclaim money up to 180 days.
