Hi,
I sold a damaged headlight recently. It was a BME headlight which is a sealed unit. the only damage was on the lens so the casing itself was completely intact.
Buyer had messaged me saying the headlight does not work at all suddenly and sent me pictures of cable damage. only in the pictures he sent you can see he has stripped the headlight apart and the damaged cable is an interior part!
What do I do as now he's asking for a resolution and i do not want to give him any money back but also do not want a dispute with eBay about it if he follows through and opens a case?
See pictures below of headlight condition when wrapping and then when eh has received them. you can even see his tools

You have no option but to accept the return and supply a return label. On return youbrefund and can then complain to ebay.
Failure to accept the return and supply label, or refund on return, the buyer can escalate to ebay who will refund at your expense and you get a damaging defect.

Annoying but that makes sense!
so what actually happens in this case if I accept a refund. Am I just stuck with a further damaged and now opened part and no money?
