Promote Items

I am a private seller listing to empty my garage of items I inherited. I am Above Standard seller with recent sales and want to offer eBay more income by promoting some of my items however it seems they getting enough income as there does not seem to be a way for me to promote my items or to apply to do so.

The promotion option is on the listing form at the bottom, with two options.

No in my case it says you must qualify. You must be Above Standard and have recent sales records. Well I fit both thos requirements and there is NO way to apply. Hence my question

Not all listings comply,  promotion boosts the item to the top of the search lists,  so eBay monitor each category as to to how many they can allow.  If every single application was accepted, there would be no point.

So if it's not there for your item,  it's currently,  not available for that category.
