Returned item, seller says damaged

Hi, I returned two radiators, never opened.

The seller said they couldn’t find them for the first week, then when I showed proof of return finally located them. Then sent pictures saying one was damaged, (see image) scratched along the bottom. The seller sent pictures of the boxes that they have been sent back in, the images show perfect boxes no damage, so I was curious how would these metal radiators get so scratched the same part of the box hasn’t even got a mark on it or any dirt or anything? has been secured with polystyrene and yet damaged  along the bottom but the box be perfect along the same area.
The seller  said the second radiator was also damaged, same thing. I believe they have just shown pictures of previously damaged radiators and placed them next to the boxes of the returned radiators to not have to give a refund.

there is no correlation between the damage and the images of the boxes they sent.

I’ve contacted eBay to get a resolution, but I’ve had nothing back now it’s been over a week.

I believe that this seller has done this before to returned radiators,  probably used the same previously damaged radiators to not have to give refunds.

I am now out £420.

Any help would be grateful. Please see photos.

If it was a business seller, they are allowed to deduct money for returned damaged items.

But as said, contact ebay CS.
