does anyone get same error if using ebay.com instead? 

There is a major eBay server issue affecting many,  you are not alone.

eBay are aware,  and working on this,  but it is intermittent,  so perhaps try a little later on today,  or even tomorrow.

However,  if it's the app that you're using, some peeps have found uninstalling and reinstalling the app , the account is then accessible.

I am using the website (apparently my phone is too old for the app) I deleted all cookies ect but that had no effect.  Still the same issues today, so i will keep trying and hope that it's fixed soon.

Hi Everyone,

Had this issue on Opera browser, i could bid normally but when confirming a offer i would get message regarding connection refusal. I have logged into my ebay account with fresh chrome installation and i could place offers normally. This is really frustrating as I lost an item I was really excited to but.

Same issue on Chrome and Firefox, for a week now.

At least it isn't just me)

Edited to say I have to use my phones eBay app to make offers, does work there at least.

They had a bug for years where you couldn't change best offer to click and collect.

This could take some time!

Looks like this issue was resolved.  Submitting offers on Opera browser works as intended now.
