Hi, I bought an item on eBay 8 months ago that was allowed on the platform. I haven’t used it and recently tried to resell it, but my listing was removed as counterfeit.
I trusted eBay when I bought it and now can’t sell it. Can anyone advise how to appeal this or if I can get a goodwill refund/credit?
Thanks!

Sorry this has happened to you but it's far too late to get a refund via ebay or your payment provider. If an appeal is available there would be a link on the email ebay sent you but I've never heard of anyone winning an appeal after an item has been removed due to being counterfeit.

The eBay message for takedowns can be misleading. It does not necessarily mean that the item is counterfeit. Is the designer/maker on eBay's VeRO list? They may not allow you to sell their products.

You can request a Callback to ask about a courtesy refund, but usually eBay Customer Service won't help if more than 30-days have passed since purchase.
