That is happening to me too, it was ok a few days ago but now even when all correct it says the same message, Irish customer service said lots complaining. His tip was to pre empt and alter all listings before being removed. Have just altered all my vintage screwdrivers.   I also had a gravy boat with a bid of £50 removed as ebay algorithm said it had contact details on it.  It did not and ebay agreed said it was a glitch but refused to compensate me for the lost bid as said no guarantee they would have paid!!!!!!!!

I've had lots of tools , chisels and nippers, pliers removed.  I pointed out a pencil is a good weapon and keys women often carry them at night!   Pliers are not blades but you could hit someone over the head, as with a hammer so where is their algorithm going to stop?  Wooden rolling pins, metal coat hangers, tent pegs?  They are pointed and sharp........... fencing spikes....... I don't understand why a platform making money from selling makes it so hard for us to sell??

I managed to figure this out, you have to just say postage only, no collection, then the age verification becomes a choice of postage. Hope this helps everyone.

There's UK law on bladed items and then there's ebay's law on bladed items (most of which are not bladed items within UK law)

It really is a ridiculous state of affairs. Ebay lately seems to be doing everything it possibly can to make life miserable (often impossible) for sellers.
