For some reasons even if the area is ok, it doesn't show me all the options the seller had or the one I like, so I couldn't buy there as well. CS couldn't explain why.

Our printer is up the shoot and I want to hand write my own label and take it to the post office

I can do this with certain items but not others

Previous items the weight was too low on the ebay label so had to cancel the label and then it aloud me to write my own label

I don't use apps and I will not use ai

Correct !!

They've also made it super annoying to combine postage as well. It's not very clear at all. And you can't add it to orders already placed. Funny they never mentioned anything like that on Simple Delivery setup. Before it was actually so simple...you get 2 orders for the same address you can just refund them delivery fee.

Now Simple Delivery INSIST you buy postage labels from the sale payment for each item. How is that simple??? Simply sh*t.

yes it's not right and it's extra work for sellers I have buyers asking me how to combine items for shipping even for non SD items (under 100g) but I cannot tell them how

yes it's really annoying to weigh things at home only to find it's overweight at post office having to cancel label then buying another so you're out of pocket until you get the label money back from ebay.

Best way for combined postage, in this new eBay world, is to ask the buyers to pay then issue them a postal discount.

With Simple Delivery it is eBay that is charging for the postage not the Seller, so that won't work.  Combined postage is only really possible at the moment if the buyer places the items in their basket before paying.

The problem with saying that people get a postal discount when they put the
items in their basket is that too many people don't know, can't or won't
use the basket facility! If you had to use the basket as the only method to
checkout it would make a lot more sense, but ebay won't do that because
they get more profit without using it!

Yes, I agree that the basket facility needs to be made clearer to buyers or maybe eBay should add an option to 'Create a bundle' as on a certain other site that thay have been keen to copy.

I thought everybody did that & if they don't a note on the listing should work

I wish ebay would think about the buyers/sellers instead of bitting off the hand that feeds them

I've stopped using ebay for selling until they reverse this stupid policy, OR have an opt out solution.
I've been selling on ebay for 24 years and to be forced into choosing a delivery system I don't like or want means goodbye ebay.

I've still got an account to buy, but no more selling

I’m close to leaving myself.

It’s like stumbling around in the dark without a torch blindfolded.

At least there's other sites like Vntd where the similar shipping system works much better. AlthoughThey're not perfect because people send silly low offers like £1:80 for a £3 item just because the postage for it is £5:60 . This is why I try to sell larger items on F/book

I agree, every parcel am waiting for is late and it’s got much in the last two months, I am going to stop buying on eBay .

testing if this works

Completely agree, and it’s just as bad from the buyer’s side.
Simple Delivery completely blocks direct messaging between buyer and seller. If there’s any issue with the order, the buyer has no way of contacting the seller at all — the only option is to open a dispute once the eligibility period kicks in.
On top of that, eBay customer support told me they won’t contact the seller on the buyer’s behalf — the seller has to call them. So as a buyer you’re essentially stuck with no communication channel and no support.
It’s a terrible experience for everyone involved. eBay really need to rethink this.
