Yeah - but remember, they always used to provide that kind of service for free! If in fact it was worth the paper it wasn't written on.

Oh, yes? And the other option is EVRI, which is okay if the customer doesn’t mind the parcel being chucked over next door’s fence.

So true. I do not think some of them can read. I had a parcel delivered to the wrong address. Supplier sent a replacement no guesses where that went as well!!

The only reason I don't use Evri is because the drop off place is a long way away! I only use the collection service. Our local deliveries are really good. The only time Evri lost a parcel from an ebay sale, they refunded me

those medium parcel prices have been a bargain. But the 2kg medium will be a lot more than the cost - RM don't make a different price between 1kg and 2kg.

I seem to have messed up again. I have a sale and I went to generate the postage label. Got a QR code but then got called away with something else and lost it. Does anyone know how I can recover the QR code, my item just says despatched and I can’t get back to the postage label

I’m sure there is a way to reprint the postage label. Can’t remember how just at this time, but I remember seeing “print postage label/qr code” somewhere AFTER I had already printed it once. I’ll have another look and get back…..

Okay - got it. Go to your orders list. Click on the order number to bring up the order details. Click on the blue box that says "get another label". On the next page, at the right hand side, you can see "download QR code" Ignore the banner that says you can only generate one code per order - it will still allow you to get the original QR code. Let us know if you manage it OK.

on laptop: go to all orders and click on 3 little dots, and you should see "get another label"
Or find "Postage labels" in left hand menu when you have clicked on orders and you'll get a list and click on actions for the item and "get another label"

Glad that's sorted out, Emma. Incidentally, this throws up yet another reason why custom delivery is better than Simple Delivery - when I do my own postage, I do it online via the Royal Mail web page, and when I've completed the label and payment, I can not only directly print my label but download a copy to my PC. So if I mess anything up, I can just reprint the label. Simples!
I'm now putting in ads in a specialist magazine instead of selling on eBay. Less pain, more support.

Yes, I'm done with it, its now all too complicated and stressful. I had downsized and was getting rid of items I no longer wanted so have quite a bit more to sell that I hadn’t listed but I’ll sell them somewhere else. Even the fact that I couldn’t pick things up on my iPhone or iPad but had to go to my laptop frustrated me.
So, yes, I’ll soon be done.
This last item sold last night, I was given until 31/08 to despatch it via Royal Mail as that was what the buyer chose apparently. Not sure about anywhere else but our Post Office is closed on Sundays, couldn’t get there today and am at a funeral on Monday so I’ll probably get penalised for not getting it in the post quick enough.
Hey Ho
Best Wishes

I did my (very) last order and got the pre-paid label on Sunday last (24th) and it said I had to post by the 23rd! The day before! And of course I couldn’t post Sunday, or Monday either as that was a bank holiday. So I posted on Tuesday. Delivered next day, and the customer was happy. No penalties as it was still within the date originally stated by eBay. Don’t worry about when you post, then.

I’m now convinced that eBay is being run by that renowned group of business people - Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Megan Markle. (Harry being a sleeping partner) Really competent.
