Hello!

Ahoy there Dave, Sorry haven't been in touch. I've just come back from my birthday party on the mainland. D Dock sounds really dreamy. Cormorants do travel far inland. Have seen them on the Thames and the Isis in Oxford fishing with the Herons. Didn't know you were a Sparky. Hope all your projects go well. Full steam ahead. You've got a lot of strings to your bow. There are lots of coots in Oxford. But mainly moorhens on the island. As an old cook of a few stately homes, with many vintage recipes, But only reference to Herons- one must be careful not to crack the bones or the whole dish will smell and taste appalling of fish.So maybe best not to have a coot burger. Never mind a fine wine also. There's a bottle of Lambs behind the bar in the Nags. All Best regards Mrs. H.
