Our House - Madness

What a strange time it is.

My geraniums and gladioli are still flowering away from the summer  and pansies about to bloom too.  Just need to get some enthusiasm as life these days is so unpredictable.  The way things are going we will not be getting away for my missed cruise of 2 years ago for my 70th!!

I've planted quite a lot of things, but only the sunflowers & clary are coming up so far. I'm going to put the sunflowers in the front garden with some borage so I have some blue with the yellow. Bees should be happy 🐝

Good to see folks back again.

I've been busy in garden too.  Yes I had my birthday thanks Mousie, but no cruise yet.  Hubby gave me a new cloche though, so Ive no excuse for not growing some wonderful plants!  Just gor some lovely blue and yellow violas that Dobbies were selling off.  I love violas as they just keep flowering for ever.

Think I might try some veg seeds and sunflowers too, but maybe a little late.

The violas sound very cheery & they always look like they're smiling. I'm late sowing seeds most years but they usually do something.  Some need a certain temperature to germinate - every year I forget that the cucumber seeds need to be warm & just as I'm about to throw them out, up they pop & soon I'm inundated with them.
