Seems to be working OK now...

I have just had this problem too .  ( It was not possible to generate the label. Something is wrong. Please try again later. ) E-bay has taken the cost of the prepaid postage label from my sale ( before I even tried to select it ) but I can't generate the label. What's strange is they, never took the cost of the label off my sale before until after the label was generated. Its as though somebody else has tried to generate the label. Has my account been compromised.


I have used this service many times in the past, never had this happed before.

 

Can somebody please help or look into this. If it can't be sorted quick, I will have to take my other items off sale, as I will loose money!

I had a QR code generated but when I took it to the Post office we kept getting an error message when it was scanned. Can you help?

The issue on this thread would about users not being able to generate the label. We had a similar issue to the one you're reporting a week or 2 ago, but that was fully resolved. Did you manage to get is scanned? If you didn't, could you please confirm the item number, so I can take a further look and report it if needed please?

Issue is not resolved. I'm still having this issue now and have packages that are now past deadlines. 

This is a month old thread and that was a technical issue , now solved.

 

The issue you are racing this morning could be because it may just be Friday morning glitch as today is eBay's maintenance day.

 

In eBay HQ in CaliforNIA where it's still late night the day before,  eBay are tweaking and installing new systems causing less glitches for their customers in the States being late, but sending things a little awry here.

 

Try a little later on in the day, when them indoors in eBay Towers have finished their work!

I've been having this issue since Tuesday.  Still not resolved called ebay who could not help its frustrating. I've contacted buyer explaining i am sending via different  courier  and providing tracking but ebay has taken money for delivery. I'm out of pocket as paid for delivery myself. Its frustrating as no seller wants to upset buyers but ebay needs to sort this issue thank you for your reply though 

It certainly is an issue , as others are being affected,  but you are not out of pocket if you paid for an SD label and it wasn't used,  these are how those refunds work:

 

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
 
  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.

This is still an issue as I can not generate a label the buyer has provided, so what happens now.

 

I have this same issue. It started 3-4 days ago. I'm following for a resolution. 

Same issue for me. Buyer has paid postage for a click and collect delivery to their local Tesco's. When I click on the button to generate the postage label it says "something has gone wrong" and "No postal services available", even though Ebay is instructing me to take it to an Evri collection point.

Please can you look at my order if possible. I'm very angry at the fact Ebay tells me I have to send this within timescale to avoid further charges and I have no control of this or any human to talk to for help.  Packlink support - It wants a carrier ID which I've have not been provided with so I can't even request for help! Ridiculous, give me a human to speak to.
