Glad it's feeling better now. Still, once it's gone the pain will be gone for good as well. I had one of my wisdom teeth split in half on me some years ago and I cut my tongue on the sharp edges left behind by the piece that came away. I managed to sort that out by taking a metal file to the tooth and filing the jagged part off of it to smooth it down again, although the remainder of the tooth eventually had to be removed a few years later.
