Sorry, gotta say it - as have other people. Who on earth comes up with these clues?? Now I do lateral thinking and logic puzzles and some of the answers to the clues are stark raving bonkers....

I agree with everyone else, eBay should inform people as soon as the listing has been won and give an idea when the listing will be made live.

Luckily i'm on broadband but I would hate to think what other people are paying out in telephone costs if they have a normal dial up....

I have spent all afternoon searching for the answer. My eyes hurt and my neck hurts from having to turn around and hide my desktop everytime someone from work enters the room. Fantastic way to spend the day rather than shopping on the internet (which i couldn't afford) AND i got my collegues involved.
Classic - cheers, although i may either fall asleep at my desk now or get fired for being on the internet.
Either way - great way to spend an afternoon.
Oh and it stopped me smoking as i didn't want to leave the PC!!!! FABtastic.

Excuse me but I'm a bit thick. I haven't a clue how this works. It seems very hard. Wouldn't it just be just as easy to think of any item, do a search on it, and read every one that's up for sale??? Have the hints to be added together or are they all for a different item??? I'm totally confused.

ooooooo, SO close, i found a winning item but was 323rd, doh! anyway my cluesolving is working though as i guessed manic street preachers bout 13.00 today but was way too early, but sat here for almost 12 hours!!! Anyway tommorrow ill get i know i will....Good Luck guys!

ok, i'm back home for christmas and my mum has left me a huge list of housework to do before she gets back. Unfortunately after reading my emails i have been on the computer looking for something that has to do with turkey and 'also on the table' have a feeling i'll still be here when she gets back. Oh well, no presents for me!
