The house I bought in Shetland was called Armatoon. Named after the Toon Army - Newcatle Uniteds fans. Suffice it to say I changed the name as soon as I could!! Man Very Happy

It's not bad, Some grey cloud, some white and also pockets of blue sky. Chilly though

One of the things I loved about Shetland is that at this time of the year it would be starting to go dark at this time

Nice and cosy now with the curtains closed early, side-lights on, and the Christmas Tree lights too. Very homely. Woman Very Happy

Oh it was all in one piece. It was one of those modern stick type ones, but the lights wouldn't come on. I hadn't used it for 3/4 years

I sold 2 when I left Shetland to make moving easier and especially as I never put them up. Shetland has a website called Shetlink that was brilliant for buying and selling things on the island. As you probably know getting things to islands can be expensive so the trade in second hand goods is rife. The one I had before I moved to Shetland I gave to one of the elderly care wards where I worked
