Oh dear, I hope it doesn't get infected whilst it's healing up! Still, if the root has got no nerve in it and the wound heals up okay then it shouldn't cause any more problems. Just give it some regular salt rinses and it should be okay - that's what I did after I had one of my teeth out and it healed up with no problems.
