My first ever boyfriend was when I was about 9, and he was called Gareth, I was staying in Torquay then with my aunty and he was coming to tea on sunday!..We lived in Maidencombe that was fairly remote and on sundays the bus only came every hour, so just before the hour I went to the country lane where the bus stop was, but he wasn't on it, so I went back home and waited, then I went back for the next bus, but nope he did not come, so on monday in school I asked why he had not come, he said my mum wouldn't let me as he had the 'runs'..hehe..That is so true and I have laughed many times thinking back!...

its so funny the things we can remember about people. i met colin at 14 and went out with him till about 17 then he got married then a few weeks later he use to wait for me, comeing home from the club,he used to shout he had made a mistake and if he left her would i go back to him. I told him no way. He broke my heart when he got married.A few years later he did get divorsed and came looking for me. but i was married by then. Its so stange after all these years. In my first email to him was can you remember me bla bla, his reply was, irene how can i forget you, we had some great times together didnt we. bla bla. to be continued next week ha ha.

fairyfoot you are so right. i would never meet up with him again. once bitten twice shy. that was all a very long time ago me and him. i used to tell my children and my grandchildren about him. they did not believe me when i told them i had been in touch with him.the photo he sent me has put me off him UH.
