Thanks Momma - I am off tomorrow to Gatwick and spending the night there in a hotel and then flying out to Vegas on Monday. Just can't wait 🙂

Mary I hope you have a great time and the gorilla tripod comes in useful. we are due to go upto the lakes tomorrow and the old camera is coming with me so fingers crossed with some nice weather I might have a few pics to show too

I got the Canon EOS 450D today! 🙂

Still playing about with it, and as its dark I cant go traipsing upto the woods now.. but so far I am really impressed with the picture quality.. I can get clear shots of my fish (and water splashes on the outside of the glass too.. lol)

that what had thrown me too, I had got it right with the maker and the area, from googling, but I cant work out what the 2 means. I know its definately an old piece.. as my dad collected antiques..

Some pieces that were made in 2000 had a 2 on them (Millennium mark), but it won`t be that if it`s an old piece.
