thought that was you when I spotted Toby in your album!!

you commented on my photo of the church earlier tonight 😉

and good for so many pics, keep us and you quiet for a few days yet!!

Where is veneto ??

And your dress .which I love sooooooo much !!

Will you be putting the dress on eBay ?

Can anyone give me some advice.
I am looking for some software that will enable me to make DVDs with my photos on allowed a soundtrack to be added and for various themes and presentations (fades, backgrounds etc).
Does anyone use one or can make a recommendation?

Mary, I make these all the time and have a list of people waiting for one. They are VERY VERY effective. I use a programe called XOOM Photos on TV which cost £20, it does loads of stuff, you can add moving text and your own music etc. Only problem is, I have to save my work every few mintues coz it does tend to crash alot. It also takes along time (approx 2 hours) to encode onto a dvd for a half hour film, but it's worth it to see the joy on peoples faces when they watch them.
If you have Windows, you should have Windows Movie Maker, that is also very good, doesn't take so long to use but IMO isn't as good as XOOM

I've just done a dvd slideshow of my family, with photos dating from 1899 to 2008 (it took me nearly 100 hours LOL), and gave a copy to all my family. They all really enjoyed watching them. I'm in the process of doing my sisters leaving to oz party, then I have a wedding to do next Friday, of which I'm also taking the photos 😐 I'm very nervous about that job LOL

I notice you have put some of your holiday pix up, so I'm off to take a look at those... Photobucket

Wilma - thanks for the advice. i am going to give Movie Maker a go and see if it does what I want and if not I will look for Zoom. :)

Thanks Wilma 🙂

To be honest I think all the photos so far are a bit 'ordinary' so I am hoping for better things. I know your mood affects the photos you take and the first couple of days were a little difficult for hubby and I (without going into too many details) so hopefully my mood was lighter after that and the pictures will cheer up!!

I got xoom (it's spelt with an x not a z for some reason) from PC world a few months ago. You might be better off playing with Movie Maker first, to see how you get on, as xoom can be very frustrating as it takes ages LOL
Let me know how you get on with whatever you decide to use :-D Photobucket

I certainly will Wilma - I find my capacity for picking up new things so much harder these days!!
