It's what I'm trying to do ie...close-up with the background blurred but it's not easy even when using macro.

Do you use a tripod or monopod when taking the close up pics?
I have both Stu but use the tripod more I would say

I've been looking for a local photography club to join, maybe that'll help.
Before that I was using a Sony Cybershot ~ which I still use and get good pictures with lol....BIG difference in price though lol

Yes Sturos I just couldn't make up my mind, a modest a man with an eye for drama! To spend £1000 would have been SO easy, I bought his calendar for 2009.
