A few days of heat followed by weeks of rain, traditional British summer!! 😁

Ha!  You should have seen the storm in Paris last Wednesday evening... it looked at our UK storms and asked us to hold its beer... or should that be wine as it was France...?

I've been in a few of them, was a tad contradictory, pouring rain, hot as hell 😅

I can believe that; storms in Europe tend to generate a lot more energy than our ones do... all that hot Mediterranean air loaded with moisture, I think?

Whereas ours has the cold from Russia, the moisture from the the Atlantic and the heat from mainland Europe!

I'd disagree about the level of heat from Europe; it's generally lost a lot of potential by the time it reaches us...

It does lose a lot, but it's still a factor.

Meanwhile, there seems to be an unseasonably high level of wind coming in from the west tomorrow!!
