Yes I'll be going down for that too, but I'll go a little bit earlier, like a full day ealier, plus I'll make sure to bring my folding stool, powerbanks, as well as my 1.5m monopod, which will enable me to get a good few heads above everyone else... that said, I can also bring my selfie stick, as the bottom can screw on to the top of the monopod and increase the height a further 1.25m, which will definitely clear pretty much every obstruction!

Whichever location you pick, I'd say try to get on the south side of it - because otherwise you'll have the sun in your lens.

I have a hood adaptor for my phone hand grip bracket, so I should be alright on that front.

True, however the phone will be angled downwards as well, considering its high position and I'll see on the day too, when I get there I'll look to see where I can get the best shots from!

Technically I already have done, I spent my time walking everywhere after the funeral, so I know the layout and hot-spots... plus I can just use Google Street View to do any further plannings! Also many things will simply happen on the day so I'll have to just see when I get there on the day!
