Well now, that was an annoying 10 days stuck in my house and two weekends of digging gone to waste.... wasn't even able to get myself a camo net 😞 Though I think it would not be noticed, especially from the road, considering the surounding environment and the type of camo net I would get. And thankfully, I can go this weekend, but I would have to buy a newt for next Sunday now!

On the plus side, the weather forecast seems far better tomorrow than it has been for the last two weekends?  That's certainly the case down this part of the country; not sure if it's ben the same where you are?

Yes, very quiet.  Probably a result of the virtually unusable format these boards have been in for 18 months.  Probably the end of the line for them...

The old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" very much applies to these boards... and pretty much the rest of eBay to be perfectly honest, but eBay does like to tinker, then royally mess things up each time!

Hello You Two

I think it's just us on here these days, Petal - and not long ago I held the last post for about 15 months withoyt reply and really thought that was it for the thread!

Meanwhile, here's a dramatic picture I took during last month's storms.

Last again!!

I did take that photo while she passed by Whitehall, though this was my second position in the crowd, I had initially spent much of the night stood on the corner of Westminster Bridge Rd and Parliment St, which was just accross the road from Westminster Hall and the Abbey, so I witnessed her coffin exiting Westminster Hall and its short trip over to the Abbey.

My intention after she had entered the Abbey was to then run down the Mall and take up position by the Wellington Arch, but they had actually barricaded the ends of the roads, so I couldn't get through, thus decided to take up new position outside Whitehall and video as everything went past, the above image was a screen capture from my video.

It was a good capture of a historic event.

Will you be back in the area for the Coronation on 3rd June?
