What i would do sibling is forget it for the rest of the day and start from scratch tomorrow, I know you feel like you have tried everything but you are now so stressed you have no chance of sorting it now.

Just spoken to Jessops who say the only way to do it quicker is to use less MP's, say only 3 or 4, to reduce the file size or to try re-sampling the file in paintshop pro at a smaller size. Apparently, at 7 MP the files are going to take ages as, even though they say around 2.4 Mb, when you open them they become bigger (he says) and so they need to be massively reduced in file size.

I'm so cross as there's no way around this apparently. He said if I can't do it, I can take the disc in and he'll show me how to re-sample. So cross. 😞

siblings problem makes me ask,
Which photo editing programes do folk use?
I use the canon one that came with the camera ans sometimes picassa (free from google) I have just got fireworks installed now so will learn to play about with that a bit.

Sibling is there any other programmes running while you're trying to upload? that can slow things down.

PB has done the same with me several times when uploading
Try clearing your temp int files n cookies n history then close down and start again
That's what I do and it usually works 😄

I liked this rock with the chain coming out of it lol
Thought it looked strange ...

half sibling , not sure if this has been mentioned, take photos at best quality with camera, adjust size to upload on here via photo software i.e. image size.

Sibling that sounds like carp my camera is 10MP but I use RAW files which are 6 to 7 times the size of a jpeg file, they do take longer but certainly not as long as yours have done

Granny I use Microsoft camera wizard to download and PS pro to resize etc

Oh, happy days, they don't look too bad. Sorry about my strop, but I was so upset when I couldn't get them to upload. They still take longer but much, much quicker now I'm resampling in photoshop. Sorry for being bad tempered about it but I have 299 here to do now!

Granny I use Animation Shop or PSP 9 to resize/crop/add text but I don't really 'edit' any of them as such lol

PB has lots more things that you can do to your pics now too.
