Storm?  What storm?

According to the news we were right in the middle of the zone; in our road as far as I can see the only sign is one fence panel was half blown down a few doors away and that's it.  Our bird table and bins were still upright.  No damage to any trees nearby.  No debris in the street.  Strange?

Night all pleased you were safe Peter

Momma - you're talking to someone who, when they were still operating, would go for a ride on the cross Channel hovercraft in a force 8 gale just for the fun of it; straight out from Dover to Calais and straight back on the same craft...  Smiley Happy

Momma, I was once on an experimental French boat called the Agnes 200 ( Google images will show you the sie of it ) doing a day trip from Brighton Marina to Dieppe and back; on the way back we got caught in a sudden squall about 30 minutes away from Brighton and had to heave to for an hour until it cleared.  The boat was rolling at as much as 45° and I was just sitting in the cabin munching my sandwiches...

Night all You are brave..
