I am using Photoshop. 5 and 5.5 and for nearly 2 years now CS. After over 10 years I probably only using 30% of it. I think Paintshop is equally clever! But just ever so slightly different and it would be to much bother (for me) to train again. I'd say, choose one of the two and get your teeth into it.

Or try both simultaniously and see if you make progress quickly enough.

For animation it's Animationshop 3, but I also want to get back to Gif Animator which I used years ago.
