Make somebody happy.


 


I was at a supermarket the other day, about to pay my bill. 


"Do you have a Vector Card?"  She asked.


"What's that - a reward card, or something?"  I asked.


"That's right."  She replied cheerfully.  "Would you like to know all about it?"


"Oh, no."  I replied.  "My reward is seeing you, my dear."  I replied, with a wink.  It made her day.  She was still chortling to herself as I left.:-D

You're clearly close to my age, Fred, otherwise you wouldn't be using the term "my dear".


And with a wink thrown into the equation  :_|   Oh, dearie me - no wonder she was chortling :^O
