I was watching a shower spreading over the countryside about 10 - 15 miles away and it was coming closer. A bit of it got here just before I went to the lake but it came to little or nothing, juuuust enough to wet the ground and that soon dried so I didn't get wet at the lake.

Goodnight Margie, been a damp day, notta lotta rain, just enough to make the roads wet with plenty of spray. (There was plenty of traffic too!!)

Goodnight Margie, they've been saying that for a few days now. It hasn't seemed that hot here. Today it's been pretty cloudy, it started to rain as soon as I went out this morning and rained on and off. On my way back, the rain was very heavy, the spray was as thick as fog. It'd stopped this afternoon but that wind was perishing while I was at the lake. Late on, the Sun came out!!

I didn't think it was that hot here apart from a few odd days.
