It feels warmer tonight so switched off the heating for a while.

Cold during the day though. When will we get some sun? Rain, rain. rain.

After the pouring rain this morning the sun came out and it turned quite warm.

Then the rain started at teatime again.

Goodnight Bits & Margie. Been the odd shower here today but the wind was strong before easing off. This afternoon the Sun came out while I was at the lake, then, suddenly there was a heavy shower fortunately I was nearing the car. Today, there was no sign of the four ducklings I saw yesterday being chased by the geese, looks like they've killed them!

Plenty of rain here as usual.

Goodnight Margie, it's pouring down here, been the odd bit of drizzle through the day and it started raining on the way back from the lake. No sign of those ducklings, the nasty geese were patrolling!

I'm sick of rain, every morning we get up to dark and rainy days.

Goodnight Margie. It was lovely and Sunny with a clear Blue sky until about 10:30, then the clouds floated in before it became all overcast. The wind got up and was quite cold but during the sunny intervals it was warm if you were out of the wind.

It would have been fairly warm today if it wasn't for the icy wind.

Goodnight Margie, you're right, it eased off during the afternoon but got up again later. 

It looks like those geese are nesting, one was settled on the nest, the other was patrolling not far away. No sign of those ducklings, the geese must have killed them.

Goodnight Bits & Margie. No, not more geese Margie, they're the same pair that nested last year. Last year they were witnessed killing four ducklings and this year I saw them attacking four more but the ducklings got away when I was watching but I've not seen them since then. Both pairs of Coot are sitting on their nests, lots of ducks are "missing", I guess they're nesting too. We'll have to see how any cootlings and ducklings fare with those geese nesting too.
