got straight here today

Logged on OK this morning, left myself logged in this afternoon but not online, just came to it, had to log in again - took me a good 5 minutes after being taken to the Community home page no matter what.

Today when I finally persuaded Notifications to appear, I have a message "No new notifications, try posting a new question or thread to see some activity here".  But no access to past Notifications.

I've been using notifications as a quick navigation aid since getting from one board to another became as slow as wading through knee deep mud.

Is there nothing that ebay can't find a way to make worse?

This morning I went round and round signing in and each time it went back to the community page.

Eventually I tried a forced refresh =  Ctrl+F5 and miraculously the page opened with me signed in!!!!

This is getting ridiculous now. Nothing worked, I've been round and round in circles for 20 minutes. Eventually I went to the discussion boards page, then to the Café, then Help, where it said to click "sign in" at the top of any page, I only clicked that and................ miraculously I saw the Notifications/Messages appear and knew I was signed in.

It seems either that different things work on different days or there's something on the ebay servers that prevent signing in and a move to a different server clears that fault?????
