Can I say that Peter Thatchell has a rabid hatred of Rhodesia -

NO matter the rubbish - He spouts

Rhodesia WAS never like South Africa - for “apartness”  = Apartheid

It was a stable society - that functioned FOR ALL

of course it wasn't perfect, but the overwhelming % of the Population,

were way better off than anywhere else in Africa and ALL were well Fed

But of course the agitators - stirred up things up   (like South America, led by Jesuits etc)

They'Educated' Mugabe (and Idi Amin among others)-

in their despicable abuse camps - They called them schools

Funny how lots of the Worlds despots have went through the 'Education' system of the Jesuits isn't it

only talking about Rhodesia not SA where The 'Dutch' did go full on 'aprtness'

Had a Pop at The Jesuits

But there is/was tons of 'Evangelical' Missionairies floating

around the World causing similar trouble.

R.I.P. Rik Ocasek

Not a name that springs to mind but lead singer of the very popular band 'The Cars' and very talented.  I wish that I had seen them in concert.

'The Day Fernando, silenced the Tims'
I was there, nothing worse than being about 10% of a Stadium,
as the others Sing their anthem at full volume, scarves held high,
at start of second half.
Then this, 50k voices silenced, in an instance

One of our most impersonated personalities has died aged 86

The naturalist David Bellamy.

I loved watching him.

Me too! Cwusty Cwustaceans! 😃

Kenny lynch has passed away, he was always around when i was a lad and was always on the telly RIP

Your right fallen-archie, Kenny was on all the tv shows that did entertainment.   Unfortunately, the last time I saw Kenny on TV was attending Cilla Black's funeral.

I loved his 'Up On The Roof' song.
