Just read that Freddie Starr has died. 

He made me laugh when he started off and then he got a bit too silly for me.

Loved his Elvis impressions - he had much nicer eyes than Elvis

He sang with Elvis's banking singers.

You couldn't really hear much of a difference between him and Elvis.

My sister passed away yesterday, only 57. Life is cruel sometimes.

So sorry to hear of your sad news Silver*Siren

She invited Rock Hudson onto her TV show at the height of the AIDs panic

and Cuddled Him live on screen

This was when He was dying from the disease and the US were really thinking of locking victims up

She all but single-handedly, got the story of 'Animal cruelty' in all it's forms,

into the Homes and minds of middle America -

She fought tooth and nail for Animal rights

You were a Legend, a real Superstar and an immense Human Being 

- and thats still selling her short

F1  hero Niki Lauda (70)  has passed away

A very brave man.

I remember many moons ago when I was knocked off my bicycle (no damage to me or bike).  A few days later, I got back on the bike and was quite tearful when I passed the same spot.  It must have taken Niki Lauda unbelievable courage to have come back to F1 racing.
