I loved watching Jason King. I was allowed to stay up for it. Fond memories.

I never knew he was gay. Sad that that fact ended his career so soon.

Dorothy Malone - I cannot remember much about the American series Peyton Place but I know that it was massive in its day and she was a big part of it.

Jazz Trumpeter Hugh Masekela has died, aged 78.

 

He was known as "the father of South African jazz"

& was a leading figure in the struggle to end apartheid.
