It was due to end one day around fifty years ago when I was at school. We all rushed to see what was on the schoool dinner menu and check when the chocolate pudding was scheduled! We all got our pudding ok. I suppose it's the usual superstitious bilge about eclipses.
I believed that the world would end yesterday........After all, who would say it was, when it wasn't?
Wishing to leave this world with a 100% clear slate, I took the three library books I borrowed in 1975 back to the library, and paid the fine of £37,542,09.
I wake up this morning and find that we are all still here !...........What a BUMMER !
£37,542,09 gone out of the housekeeping money, and bugger all left to read !
