My childhood hero.

When I was a child, I was always running around the house bare footed.  I refused to wear slippers until the day my mother got me a pair with Batman heads on.

Brian Cant 83 Childrens TV

I can still remember the chorus of the theme tune.  He was made for that role in Play Away.

"Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub."
Happy trails, Brian Cant.

Never even knew Bennett was in Beastenders -

Loved Him in Shelley - the dry dry humour, Shelley used during His constant fights with authority Figures

He played Mr Croup in Neil Gaimens Nevermore to perfection

--------------------

Hardy,

The consummate Professional, just class in everything he did - Loved His story about How He ended up being friends with Burton - Burton hated this posh git, the minute he met Him, during the War. But unlike loads of others Burton had met, Hardy was just very well mannered and polite and it wasn't an aloof act.

Awww, look who's gone now:-

That's a damned shame, one of the finest singers of his generation. There was a beautifully mellow tone to his voice, really good guitarist too. Will be sadly missed.

RIP Glenn Man Sad

Such a shame for sure, he will though be well remembered.

Lots of his music has been played on the radio this morning. So nice to hear too.

May Glen Rest in Peace.
