Harry, I used to always be on at my daughters to be careful with drinks near the keyboards, so you can imagine what I had to put up with when I knocked a full cup of coffee over it.

Our Mine Host will be back shortly to dispense more alcohol, herbal teas, decaff coffee, and hot chocolate, together with lots of good cheer. He will also administer hints and tips on cookery, DIY, gardening, how to care for your cats, and how to make useful things from cornflake packets and sticky backed plastic.

He is undergoing a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen make-over on his Kentish mansion (Che Doc) as we speak, and is hoping to complete this before the next Kent & Sussex Morris Dancing Tournament (details to be announced), is in full swing. He has currently had trouble with the 'Animal Rights' people, who have closed down his whelk stall on Margate seafront. They claim that whelks have rights too. At present he is in talks with the RSPB with a view to setting up a viable concern (and in competition with RM), by introducing to the public, a carrier pigeon service.

We'd all like to wish him well in his decorating, and his new business venture, and hope that it works out right for him. #MAKEITRIGHT.

I think there is some confusion regarding Marg's overdue membership fee to his Fan Club, but I may have got that wrong. Apologies if I have. *cough*
