This thread seems Left-Wing.  I suppose that's to be expected, because the posters on here seem mainly composed of young people.  And young people always oppose the Tories, and vote Labour.

That is a fact.  It's purely an age thing.  When you're young,  you never vote Conservative. It's kind of against your genes.

Smiley LOL I think you'll find that the average age is close to 60 and we are not all right wing.  But carry on deluded.

All that we are is what we have thought.

Thats absoloute nonsense.I would bet and win hardly anyone who uses this forum is under 35 and the young as a rule dont vote as its boring (is as well) .

People who care about those around them vote against the tories as they use the working class to pay for savings that labour govs blew..which is only fair as working class voted against them so they could be better off,not something the tory utopia enjoys that ,they prefer wealthy few dictatorship and all that

oops ..or what suzie said 🙂

Hmmmmmm...that's not such a good picture of Nigel...I prefer the one wearing his hat..he looks cool!

I like that piccy of him, I think he looks cute trying to be a fierce diplomat.

Here's a couple, straight from the 'Westminster Comedy Theatre'.

Here's a couple straight from the UK Inebriates Party:-

Lovely pictures of Nigel CeeDee! He looks like a very happy man!

Also extremely elegant and bespoke, Astro. You can always tell the breeding of a person by the cut of his pin-striped suit, and the way he handles a furled umbrella....or even holds a beer. It was laughable the way in which Comedy Dave began to dispense with the jacket and roll his sleeves up during the latter part of the election campaign, trying (feebly) to appeal to the working classes. Nigel on the other hand, was his usual immaculate self, clad in a smart camel Crombie overcoat, with velvet faced collar. No need for Nigel to adopt a faux persona. Although 'top-drawer', he doesn't adopt the airs and graces of the Bullingdon clique. He could quite safely kick Dodgy Dave into the long grass at the edge of the Polo field, and afterwards have a pint and a ciggie with the local road sweeper. Man of the people is our Nigel.

Love it! Thanks Embs....seeing that again has quite made my day. And the fact is....every word of that speech is the absolute truth.

The pictures posted above  lead me to offer this suggestion:

In future TV debates, all politicians should be required to appear in front of the cameras, completely naked.

Mightn't that give a refreshing new insight into the people who seek power over us?

If Cyril Smith were still alive That idea would have been invaluable.

Noooo! Just imagine.....Ed Balls...he of the 'slow burn'...perish the thought!

Recap. Farage doesn't get elected, resigns.

Names Suzanne Evans as successor.

Two "advisors" (Raheem Kassam and Matt Richardson) get shoved out.

Farage unresigns.

UKIPs only MP Douglas Carswell gets a bit rattled by Farage unresigning.

Farage gets rattled and stroppy with Carswell.

Richardson comes back as party secretary.

The party's economy spokesman Patrick O'Flynn attacks Farage saying he's "snarling and aggressive".

Suzanne Evans leaves post as policy chief.

NOW there's this:-

I think you're up to date now? What a charming carry on?

Jeeze, I know it's fairly static on here, but to have to dredge up a thread from the archives that's two months old is a bit rich, is it not ? Still, since you have made the effort, might as well make your foray into the back number library worthwhile. Anyway, doesn't appear to have evoked much of a response up until now.

Never really cared for that Evans woman. Always found her a tad duplicitous.

Mind you...

"He is not divisive as a person but the way he is perceived in having strong views that divide people."

Must admit he does have strong views. Can't fault him for that tho'.

The previous last post on here was on the 23rd of May.

It may not have engendered a lot of response but the views went up so people read what was said and of course, many are afraid to join in because of the more impolite, vociferous fraternity.

Or on the other hand, the reason folk don't join in is because they think it'll be tantamount to....

Just a thought.

Might be because trying to reason with UKIP supporters is like headbutt
