Ok, so these images are from a google search for cat images.
I dragged the pic, hovered over the ebay tab so the reply box came up and then just plonked it inside the box.
You will get this following message when you preview it, but just ignore it. "Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."

RE. Post 6325, when I click reply that is not what I have on screen. There is nothing between the [Insert/Edit link] and [Numbered list] icons. And the boxes at the top are Rich Text & Preview, I haven't got an HTML box anywhere.
I have no idea where the other two displays petal posted are either.

I don't know why you appear to have a different set-up but try using another browser and see if the correct set-up shows. That's if you haven't tried it already.
You can't beat Firefox my dear.
