because we are in for a bit of a blow here tonight on the west coast of Scotland and again tomorrow night according to the forecasts.
Stay safe folks and hope you and your property come out the other side unscathed.

It can't get me this year, I've moved. ![]()
Did get me last year though, the window in the middle was my bedroom window.

can see & hear all the recyclables blowing along road

Yes, there's been all sorts of stuff blown from "recycling" bins here too.
I've not long come back from walking the dog and the wind was howling round the lake and all the Ducks were seeking shelter either on the island or in what bit of the lake wasn't subject to wind and waves.
At times, there was rain "on the wind" and I keep telling myself not to moan about it as those no longer with us would surely have loved to have been walking round like me, wind and rain or not?
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

The wind is getting stronger by the minute here on Merseyside and it's set to get worse tomorrow.

For once I'm glad we are not doing the Rallymans bike rally this weekend. Don't think we would even have got the family tent up, let alone get it to stay up! Ah for the good old days of just the two of us and a mountain tent

Margie's up late again?
The wind's howling here but about an hour ago a bunch of lads went down the lane and some had only got short-sleeved tee-shirts on, no sweater or coat, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Another night of gale force winds, with driving rain, also very cold 1°C
Expecting another storm later today, this time with snow
I went out yesterday, when it got light and found that my front hedge was covered in tinsel and paper Xmas decorations, which had blown out of someones bin

We knew it was not just going to be very windy, but also that along the path between the houses it creates a natural wind funnel at the best of times and still, my neighbour will not make sure her collection of plastic plant pots are locked away in her flippin ugly garden store box!
So I got up this morning to find her pots all over my little bit of garden and it's not easy for me with the arferitus to get into the borders to pick them all up.
Next time I'm going to put them all her bin!
Was kept awake last night too as the wind kept buffeting the sides of the dormer window something fierce.
