Or a slaughter house?
Remember Marius with mum? You can see him being eaten if you look at the Mail link. Just write Marius. But be warned it is very, very shocking. Like everybody else I can't think of one reason that these MONSTERS did this. Others offered to take all of them. So why, why, WHY?!

The old male and the female who are now considered too old to breed.
The zoo is acquiring a new young male lion so the two cubs were also put to sleep as the new male lion would not tolerate the cubs ........
Its quite shocking ...

They should be closed down immediately and all remaining animals shipped somewhere safe away from this abattoir....disgusting.

Yes, but PETA condemned the ''callous'' action of the zoo, which brought the lions into the world only to ''bump them off.'' That just about sums it up. There are 237 comments in the Mail link on this story, and the evidence is there that were killed unnecessarily.
They would have been moved. The new male would'nt have needed to tolerate them. And put the ruddy great BOLT GUN to the zoo owners heads.

Well, I have dealt with the zoo owner Rose. That's me, the judge in the centre. Too cruel some might say. Well hard luck!

I hardly think PETA have any right whatsoever to comment considering the number of animals they take into their shelter and promptly kill.
1,792 or 82% in 2013. http://www.petakillsanimals.com/

Well, they obviously had the right to comment. Two wrongs don't make a right, though.
Thanks for the link. Though I found it very, very disturbing to read.
Yes, just when you think you have seen it all.
'PETA employees were arrested in North Carolina after killing adoptable pets and tossing the bodies into a supermarket trash dumpster. Trial evidence showed they killed animals they described as ''perfect'' and ''adorable.'' ' Yes, and they were ''employees''.
I have heard that most zoos that are any good use contraception with their animals, precisely in order to avoid a situation where they have ''surplus'' animals with nowhere to go. So this zoo knew exactly where it was going. (surly it must have been planned) Looking at that baby giraffe with its mother, I find it hard to believe that anyone on this earth could be so b---dy CRUEL.
