Pet hates when driving?  Okay, here's mine:

 

1.  Being stuck behind an idiot driving a car so slowly despite having a clear road in front of them that you're having to move the car with the clutch, not the throttle.

2.  The aggravating frustration that comes with not being able to overtake the type of people mentioned in Point 1 due to a constant stream of traffic in the opposite direction preventing you from doing so.

3.  People following you so closely that if you were forced to do an emergency stop for some reason they'd go right into the back of your car.

4.  Speed cameras.

While I don't drive my biggest pet hates as a pedestrian are drivers

who park in front of dropped kerbs and those who park on the

pavement and leave about six inches between the car and the

hedge\wall so those of us in wheelchairs have no chance of

getting past and have to risk our lives driving in the road

and when you pull them up about it they say it is to ease the flow of traffic

and they py the road tax when they obviously don't as it doesn't exist Smiley Mad

I don't drive but my pet hate is the driver ignoring me when I'm  telling him how to drive.Woman SurprisedWoman LOL

(Hi RC)!

 

One of my pet hates is when people swing way out to the right to make a left-hand turn (or swing to the left to make a right hand turn). Why do they do it? They're driving a small car, not an artic. I drive large cars, sometimes large vans and have never needed to do that, ever, even for a tight turn.

Chavs, Scousers, criminals, scroungers, loony lefties ...

 

In fact, all the same pet hates as when I'm not driving. Smiley Wink

1. bullish drivers , when you come into a 30 or 40 mph zone and slow down to keep within the limit and they just sit behind you about 2 inches off your boot lid  .

2 . van drivers (transit size and bigger), are they not aware that their speed limit is lower than that of cars on single track road its 50mph dual 60mph .
