Tesco topped it up with 30%...............Can they write this off their taxbill as it's for charity?

Or to salve their conscience with all the food wastage at the back of the building!

**********Sam**********

I was talking about the people who donated, not tescos being decent...if multi billionaire tescos want to help poor they can tell cameron and his cronies to shut up and go away

And, talking of 'toffs' who have no idea about the real world ...

Ukraine 'mustn't be a tug of war between Russia and EU'

Prime Minister David Cameron said the crisis in Ukraine should not be seen as a "tug of war between Ukraine and Russia."

David Cameron in Westminster today. Credit: ITV News

Speaking during PMQ's he said:

" I think it is important that this should not be seen as a tug of war between the EU and Russia. We should be in favour of the Ukrainian people being able to choose their own future.

"In my view this is as much about the Ukrainian people wanting to lean towards a better relationship with the EU as well as being able to get away from the appalling levels of corruption they've got in their government.

"I think it's right that the Foreign Secretary was the first to go to Kiev and meet with the leaders"................................................     Ha..ha ..Read this  again.. being able to get away from the appalling levels of corruption they've got in their government... I wonder does he mean the UK Goverment..

You are right there Sir A,

But you forget

since BLiar & Meddleson, the Political Toffs, have destroyed the Labour party as well

The 'Working class' as well as the Under Class, no longer have anyone to Vote for (unless they listen to the anti-immigrant Press and vote  (blame the Foreigners) UKIP

and the 'Fiscal Liberal'  Toffs like Clegg, have now done the same to the once great Liberal Party

ALL the party benches are now full of University trained Political clones, with no idea of ordinary People

It's not just me then Al 🙂

Bank reps in politics who smirk at you .

people not allowed money on the whim of another in 2014 ? ,in Ukraine its called corruption and in UK it's called Hope

Couldn't agree more - mostly having read PPE at Oxbridge - and with no or very little experience of actually ever working in the 'real' world.

Shouldn't that apply also to Teachers, Social Workers and Councillors?

Many of them have absolutely no "proper" work experience outside of Colleges and Universities.

It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

It should apply to all those as well cd,although to be fair there are some real great teachers, some real diamond social workers and some exteemly hard working and honest councillors

Once you are an MP though all those traits seem to dissapear ..

ps I meant to say it applies in those jobs to the policy makers but not all the workers

Has anyone else noticed that cameron is starting to look demonic lol same as Blair did ,he didnt wear that face when we first saw him saying vote for me

sorry just saw a tangent off topic but very odd 🙂

But their incomes should give them some knowledge of the problems ordinary people face and they would share many.

One difficulty for the average person wanting to enter the political arena is that it costs a lot of money to become an MP

which is curruption at its finest isnt it  bank ,in a democracy

It's certainly not good when getting elected becomes more a matter of money than beliefs,

It's estimated to become a Tory MP taking lost earnings into account, costs about £40,000 and just to become a candidate is over £25,000.

That's only a small part of it.
