You would have to ask the former Canadian Defence Minister.  He claims that the Tall Whites (aliens) are actually working with the US Air Force in Nevada! I suppose they or their human friends told Mr Hellyer!

Suzie, might I suggest a trip over to Mumsnet ? The place is awash with an alien life form over there, though mind you, I'd hardly call them 'sentient'.

 

I'd also suggest wearing something more substantial than the conventional space suit, should you decide to make the journey.
