Blimey! I was just going out! Now you got me at it again.
Is the headline a tactful diplomatic way of saying both Obama AND Cameron were in the wrong with their gun ho attitude and have both realised that no one is impressed with their attitude?
Here send them down NOW! with their £3,500 suites. And most of this lot are bankers now
Yes, that's Boris.

If the decision by MPs here not to back a strike has made Obama pause for thought, then that is a result, I'd say. Way too easy to go storming in ... but then what? Nothing solved, more lives ruined, and no "solution" on the horizon.

There IS no solution no matter what is or isn't done.
When you've got rival factions and divided people, there's no end to it.
Here's another country tearing itself apart:-

But the solution to there being no solution cannot be other countries adding to the death and destruction, surely?

Interesting point I picked up from RT (Russian news channel in English on Sky etc)
Which Arab countries were most Westernised and stayed out of Saudi Arabian control, influence, and constantly went against SA on the Arab league
IRAQ
SYRIA
LIBYA
EGYPT
wonder what has happened to them
So who exactly hopes to gain most out of the USAs 'dream' of democracy through the 'Arab spring'
What do you think,
Will we end up with stable Democratic states or States controlled by Clerics and their puppets serving their masters in either Saudi Arabia or Iran.
Did you know that a Saudi Official went to Russia and as well as a lucrative Oil deal and other trade aid. Also promised that if Russia stopped supporting Assads regime, they would guarantee that there would be no Chechen terrorist attacks in the run up and during the Winter Olympics
I though we called that blackmail
So the West seems to cooling on direct action, now
Have a look at who is ranting and raving to the Worlds media , demanding that the International community, take action immediately
Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal
(funny how he's not asking for action, in States where Terrorists are trying to impose Wahhabi leaning strict Islamic control)

i agree shut up Tony..go away, this is getting boring. Firstly this smells like a WMD dossier, secondly the rebels or CIA could have grabbed one/used it to discredit him and thirdly THIS STILL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US.

Yes - Clare Short, told him to he 'should shut up and go away'.
He goes away ''abroad'' to give lectures for large fees!
Don't hear him ever talking about his disastrous 13 year open door policy (for VOTES!) well I never have.

Members of the American military are making their concerns known about military action in syria:
http://www.businessinsider.com/justin-amash-military-no-syria-2013-8
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) "I've been hearing a lot from members of our Armed Forces," Amash tweeted. "The message I consistently hear: Please vote no on military action against Syria."

The US has said it has evidence that the chemical nerve agent sarin was used in a deadly attack in Damascus last month.
When asked if the Syrian government had used chemical weapons, Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad told the BBC's Jeremy Bowen that they were used by....... Western-backed armed groups......
He said that if there was an attack by the US, terrorism would flourish everywhere.

Show me the proof: Defiant Syrian dictator carries out eve of war interview challenging West to provide evidence of chemical attack but stops short of denying his troops have access to such weapons
- Assad says attack would have been illogical as his soldiers were also among the victims
- Syrian leader blames rebel groups for destruction that killed more than 1,000 people
- Warns strike from West would set of 'Middle East powder keg'
