eBay [eBay@ebay.co.uk] email address slightly different than eBay [ebay@ebay.co.uk] - is one fake?

My email was somehow compromised recently. They have been using my email to change my passwords on ebay, facebook, etc, and also trying to create new accounts with companies with it.

Consequently, i'm very very wary now of all emails. I noticed that the ebay email address is sometimes different, although both appear to be genuine, content wise.

The only difference is the capital B in the word ebay (the one within the brackets):

eBay [ebay@ebay.co.uk]
eBay [eBay@ebay.co.uk]

On calls to ebay, no one seems to know anything about it.  Has anyone else had this differing ebay email address?

If in doubt forward to spoof@ebay.com Emails from ebay also come as messages, spoof messages look genuine because they are just copies of genuine messages. I don't think I have ever seen a Capital letter in an email address.
