Rude reply from seller!

How do you report sellers these days? I contacted a seller ref the fact their items totalled £6.77 and they were asking £35 plus £4 postage lol. And got the following reply

Thank you for your busy body comments, l suggest you mind your own business. Please leave me alone and go and bother someone else youblithering idiot. Kind regards F. U

Fair comment, but when l simply asked if they'd made a mistake and where did they get £35 from for items worth £6.77 l thought it was a little uncalled for! Lol

how much another seller is asking for their items has nothing to do with you!

To be honest in most cases it's not even worth contacting the seller to query an error in one of their listings unless you are actually interested in purchasing the item and are just seeking clarification as to whether the part of the listing that you're unsure about is actually just a typo or whether that is indeed what the seller meant to put.  If you don't have any interest in purchasing the item then the best option is usually just to keep quiet.  If you want to offer advice to other users then the best way to go about it is to only offer advice to those people who actually post queries on the forums actively seeking other users' advice.

I know I shouldn't find that funny, but I do. So funny, in fact,  I'm crying with laughter!

My first thought when I saw the costs involved was that this was probably an international seller. But the word 'blithering' is so utterly British, probably not...?

Still laughing hysterically here. So sorry, OP. I hope you can forgive me...?!

You don't, not just for rudeness. EBay has long since removed the link which used to be present in every message to report inappropriate comments. There are so many quarrels and insults between eBay's millions of members that they would need an army to keep order!

The reality is that commenting on other sellers' listings always risks an irate reply. What one person ses as a helpful comment, another is liable to see as poking your nose into their business.

The P&P would have been listed on the ad and this is all you would have to pay so if your seller is asking for more, don't pay. Just pay the money on the invoice.

As far as your message goes I can imagine how upsetting this can have been but I would just ignore them.
