Surprise, surprise! Now we see all the loony lefties flocking to trump each others' anti-Thatcher comments to show us which is truly 'the nasty party'.
Grebes, you once celebrated the murder of 70 "loony leftie" children on Utoya on here. So, I think you're in no position to take the moral high ground.

I don't celebrate her passing, she was someone mother and grandmother, and her family will miss her. I feel for them the way I feel for anyone that has lost a loved one.
I do remember the sense of Nation during the falklands confilct, and the set of balls she showed then. As a nation, the whole country was proud then.
But, I did disagree with many of her policies, some of which we are still suffering the consequences of even now.

She won't be missed by the coal miners..;-)

Not much I can add to post 3, just to reinforce
She sent others into an unneccesary conflict and death to save her own political life.
Without that, she would have likely been ousted, and confined to history at a much earlier stage.
Her tenure and beyond helped foster a more paranoid, divided, mean-spirited nation, full of resentment, envy, greed and distrust. Racist, selfish, inhumane and tragically too stupid to see we are now nothing but turkeys lining up to continually vote for Christmas.
.... and a few old loony chav right whingers who believe the road out of chavland is to give yourself a fake title and project your chav 'values' onto others by endless repitition of mindless drivel.

Wow, you American? lets rewrite history shall we.

Looney lefties looks like your fav saying now sir art ,and its a bit nasty calling people who don't agree with the party of your choice names 😉
She did nothing for this country except set up a complete takeover by the party that destroyed what was left, that in turn set up this hateful lot.
She was admired for her strong stance and hated for everything else she participated in...ie arms deals for 10% in her household pockets out of tax pot (disregarding the immense death toll this caused in african states) set up and promoted tobacco industries in india that along with addiction created a child blinding industry thats still being fought today etc...she set the politics in motion that caused greed to motivate it showed others that it's easy to steal of a populous and most importantly helped shareholders get the foot in the door of tax payers money and use advertising willy nilly for self profit.
To not agree with post 3 and like her values must make you a firm believer that money makes you a better person who should have more rights than someone without and if so...pls avoid a trip on a large boat as it will hit an iceberg and sink 🙂

We can argue all we want regarding Thatcher but a few facts to spring to mind.
The Miners strike was ruled by judges as ilegall if Scargill hadnt have been so war hungry for conflict with MT and held a proper legal ballot the chances are all the miners would have come out as one unit and the results could have been so much different!.
Scargill btw up until recently till he lost his case was still getting 34k a year rent for a London flat paid for by the few remaining NUM members.
Check out Tory Blairs net worth now compared to what Thatchers was,i know whos screwed the country most for personal gain.
Imho there arent many straight politicians but one major thing Thatcher did was go out on a limb and not try to butter things up like PMs since have done.

Here here.

now tony bliars gov did indeed take much more but thatcher set that way of politics in motion bliar and co should be in prison...thatchers cohorts are still cashing in today and have bled more than labour to offshore accounts thats inexcusable yet excused...thatcher wins the who can rob a tax payer best comp hands down.
And scargill was indeed the reason the minors lost.

not here here at all logbox ...not by a long shot.

I see busy fingers are out again ;-).....
Clearly History hasn't made it's way over to Sheppey yet, but then who can blame it.

It's ironic how Thatcherites today keep harping on about the value of "hard work".
Yet it is Thatcher's legacy and that ensured people who do the "hard work" are shafted, and the people who play the metaphorical fruit machines are laughing all the way to the bank (usually in the Cayman Islands).
