ebay sponsors festive entertainment

I suppose it must be deemed more cost-effective to sponsor a TV channel from last week until Xmas or so and get a quick advert in at the beginning and end of every advertising break, rather than just having an occasional longer advert.

I would have thought almost everyone has heard of ebay. I wonder if advertising greatly increases their sales.

Still, everyone has heard of B&Q too and they sponsor some programmes.  Is there much of a tax break from advertising?

All that we are is what we have thought.

I too have seen Ebay's adverts.

They annoy me as they seem to be advertising the fact that anything you can get on the High Street can be purchased -which of course is true, but never a word that you can get the odd and unusual - either second hand goods or hand made goods etc on here as well.

It is just my opinion that the people who helped Ebay get where it is today - ie the small time sellers (and not the big boys) are not mentioned

I DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WANT TO SEE ANY ADVERTS FOR EBAY

Remember - it takes 17 muscles to smile and 44 muscles to frown - SO KEEP SMILING 🙂
